Ing. Laura Mora

Ing. Laura Mora Mora: Industrial Engineer and Project Manager specialized in climate change, sustainability, circular economy, life cycle approach, sustainable business models, and conformity assessment processes, in the validation and verification of greenhouse gases, and certification of products, processes, services, people and management systems. She is the architect of Costa Rica’s Carbon Neutrality Program, and she was part of the work team that developed the National Decarbonization Plan of Costa Rica and the updated NDC (2020) as advisor of the Minister of Environment and Energy and the Climate Change Directorate of Costa Rica. Currently, she is the manager of the UNEP’s NDC Action Project in Costa Rica, works as a consultant in several international cooperation projects and is an auditor in the INTE B5 standard to demonstrate carbon neutrality, ISO 17029, ISO 14065, ISO 14064 family and other related standards
